Seeing more and more development and Orange signs around DeLand, I decided to speak up. I went to a City Commission meeting and quickly realized what is going on in town.
Myself and others were summarily dismissed during our speaking time, and the development was approved.

I quickly realized if there is to be any town left for my children to enjoy in the next few years, we, as a town, need to get organized NOW!!
I set up this website to gauge interest in people running for City Commission/Planning Board seats (It's less complicated than you think) and we can help.
If you can not commit to that, what can you offer in support of the cause? Your time? Organization skills? Experience? Services? Funds?
